Domplatz becomes a sea of lights: large illuminated figures, a nativity scene and a glowing recreation of the Magdeburg hemispheres experiment against the cathedral backdrop. More light displays connect the city centre’s squares.
Admission to Lichterwelt is free. The lights continue after the Christmas markets finish. Guided walks and tours are separate offers from Tourist Information.
